RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH

2009-2010

Text Box: Dear families,

Welcome to our congregation and to our Religious Education Program for children and youth!  Our programming includes worship, Sunday classes, youth groups, parent education and family events.

On Sunday mornings we all begin together in the sanctuary, with the children and youth dismissed for their classes after a short time.

Our curriculum is drawn from five major areas of concentration:

  • Unitarian Universalism
  • Jewish & Christian heritage
  • World Religions
  • Peace and Justice
  • The Natural World

Ministry with children and youth is an essential component of this congregation’s mission.  Our cooperative program benefits from the active participation of every family.  After attending for 6 months please speak with me or a member of the Religious Education Committee so that we can help you find the most appropriate volunteer opportunity.  The funding of our programs depends on the generous financial support of the whole congregation, members and friends.  Please keep this in mind when making your annual pledge.

We are so happy to have you here!
