Pastoral Ministry:
The minister, Carol Rosine, is assisted in the pastoral work of the congregation by Ann Willever, Minister of Religious Education and the following groups:

*The Lay Ministers: Laura Cerier, John Magadieu, Susan Sheridan, Betty Spargo, Bob Wolf, Joan Scialo-Rubin, Marian Szymanski, & Candy Schoenewolff. Part of what they do is to maintain a Caring Network for those who need temporary assistance with meals, transportation, & childcare.
*The Addiction Ministry Task Force with Joan Scialo-Rubin as contact.
*The Prayer Shawl Ministry with Marian Szymanski as contact.
*The Ministerial Relations Committee, chaired by Nancy Simmons, supports the Parish Minister and the Ministerial Relations Committee, chaired by Erin Johnson, supports the Minister of Religious Education and is a conduit for communication between the congregation and the ministers.

Communications:
*The newsletter, edited by Laura Cerier & Doug Randall is published once a month.
*Our Web Master, Jake Jacobson, maintains our web site, www.fusf.org.
*Over 200 FUSF folks are on our electronic mail list. To join this list contact Jake Jacobson at jakej15_at_comcast.net. This has become our most effective way of disseminating information about the congregation quickly.
*External Communications are handled by Julie Dennehy.

Membership Development:
The Welcoming Committee, chaired by Karen Allard, is responsible for welcoming visitors on Sunday mornings, orienting those who are new to the congregation, and maintaining the FUSF membership rolls.

Community Building (opportunities for people to socialize):

*The Ferry Beach Retreat takes place each year on the 3rd weekend in May at a UU conference center in Saco, Maine. It's fun for all ages and a great opportunity to develop deeper relationships within the congregation. Registration begins in the early spring.
*Critical Mass, a group of people who like to sing, gathers every Tuesday night at the home of Sue Bencuya & Paul Sager.
*The Thanksgiving Potluck is part of the FUSF tradition and takes place after worship on the Sunday preceding Thanksgiving.
