Highlights from the FUSF May Board Meeting
5/23/06

Carol is applying for a grant from The Lilly Foundation during her sabbatical. If we get the grant, Carol and FUSF will both receive funds.

RE is actively registering children for next year. One third of the volunteers for next church year have enrolled. The Coming of Age curriculum has been very successful and is coming to an end. Ann will be putting together a booklet for the children with all of the credos in it. She will make available a copy for us adults to look at too.

Ann needs to have a Ministerial Relations Committee to evaluate her. The board or Carol will need to do an evaluation too, ideally the current board which knows her work. Ann has asked the following people to be on her ministerial relations committee: Bill Callahan, Jim Flannery, Leah Rubin, Erin Johnson, Kathy Wisnieski.

What did we accomplish this year? The Green Committee, Marketing Committee, Sunday Forums, new MRE, awesome fund raising. Live Arts Benefit Concert, Jane and the Oxymorons, Committee Fair, Hosting BCD conference. Increase of visitors over other years. Increased overall attendance at services. The sanctuary wall, stage expansion, the floor in the foyer, the new name tag rack, changing tables in the bathrooms, bulletin boards, another year of awesome music. The Labyrinth. Trustees standing up for announcements and making themselves available after services. Girl scouts, 4H Club, Alcoholic Anonymous meeting, increased rentals, Live Arts Grant.
