Highlights from the FUSF February and March Board Meetings
3/21/06

In February Rev. Carol Rosine, due to her sabbatical next year, asked that the board not seek a new ministerial intern and recommended that our current intern, Joanne Giannino stay with us another year. This proposal was passed 9-0. Subsequently, Joanne approached the UUA which approved the extension of her stay. Also, while Carol is away, there will be approximately four guest ministers giving sermons.

The BCD is using our building for its spring conference and an FUSF committee is in place to support this endeavor.

This year, the fund raising committee has exceeded its goal by 867 dollars.

LiveArts received a grant for 1000 dollars which will allow it to end its first season in the black.

A low volume E-Mail list has been established. For those of you who have been frustrated over the large volume of E-mail received from members and staff, this list will only be used by the staff. Board members or others wanting to use this list will need to submit requests to Sue Gravina with the understanding that this list is for the conveyance of church business only.

Thanks to all of you the Committee Fair was a huge success and several people joined several committees. The Board intends to hold this fair on a yearly basis.
